Murphy + Sheanon are a Landscape Design & Build practice uniquely specialising in horticulture and landscape architecture. Based out of our studio in Monkstown, Co. Dublin, the practice is led by Dominick Murphy and Colum Sheanon.

We offer a full variety of Landscape and Garden design services, public and private, commercial and domestic. We also specialise in outdoor furniture design and specification, as well as lighting, water features and SUDS products and procedures.
In conjunction with our partner, Carragh Landscapes, we facilitate the execution of all types of Landscape construction and planting. 
Boasting a diverse team of skilled craftsmen, including joiners, horticulturists, pavers and electricians we are delighted to recommend Carragh to our clients.
Our maintenance packages are tailored to suit the property and clients' requirements. We also carry out one off tasks which include lawn repair, arboricultural work, bulb planting, mulch application, and seasonal cleaning.

Dominick Murphy Partner
Dominick has an extensive background in horticulture, having studied in the prestigious Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin. He spent time with the OPW before branching into design and establishing the Dominic Murphy Gardens brand. With over 25 years in practice, he has become one of the most sought after horticulturist and landscape designers in the country.
Colum Sheanon Partner
Colum graduated from University College Dublin with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He completed his MA in Landscape Urbanism in Kingston University, London, where he specialised in Sustainable Urban Drainage design. Colum’s experience lies in hard landscape design and construction. 
Sophie Barwich Landscape Architect 
Sophie has been with Murphy Sheanon since early 2016. A Cork native, Sophie earned her BSc in Landscape Architecture In Edinburgh. Sophie has years of professional and practical experience having worked in several Landscape Architectures studios as well as commercial Nurseries. Sophie's blend of experience and particularly her vast plant knowledge mean she is an invaluable part of the Murphy Sheanon team.
